Bringing Republicans and Lesbians together

-Headline of the day-
"Lesbian YouTube Video Embraced By Virginia GOP."

I ask you, how could that not be the HotD?

According to the report, "someone who runs the RPV's [Republican Party of Virginia's] official YouTube channel was apparently way into a YouTube video titled 'The Kiss,' a video that could potentially redefine the age-old 'Virginia is for lovers' motto to include lesbian softcore erotica. I think you'll agree, this video is probably NSFW, unless you work for the Republican Party of Virginia." It features ladies kissing ladies, so don't look at it unless you hate America.

Eventually, someone from the RPV realized the party had favorited a lesbian porno and "removed this content from the RPV's YouTube channel." Good thing too, because they're against ladies kissing ladies. The RPV's 2008 party platform clearly states "We believe that the Congress should pass a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between one man and one woman."

I'm guessing the Virginia GOP was hacked by radical homosexual activists or Muslim terr'ist socialists or baby-killin' feminists or something. There's no way that a Republican would watch this stuff, because that'd be a hypocritical lifestyle choice. (Huffington Post, h/t to Robert Sandy)

-Fun with crazy people-
FOX News' website is running a story, "Homeland Security Warns of Rise in Right-Wing Extremism," that tells readers that right-wing extremist groups are being helped in recruiting by stories about how Obama's a socialist who's going to take your guns away and institute sharia law -- basically, all the stuff people dial up FOX News to get.

FOX's report tells us that "DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis issued an intelligence assessment last week that said it has no specific information that domestic right-wing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence, but right-wing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on fears about the recession and the election of the first African American president. The office called them 'unique drivers for right-wing radicalization and recruitment.'"

But if you want to have real fun, you check out the comments to the story. This being FOX News, you get a bunch of very excellent examples of the lunatic righties DHS is warning against.

"Agenda to gain control by having people who oppose their communist agenda labeled extremist so they can lock us away to silence us," warns user kbee50.

"This was a matter of time," writes singlemomof2. "Now it is the White conservative vets that are being racially profiled."

"Stop the riot talk!" says would-be voice of reason rich43068. "This has to be peaceful or they win!"

I thought "they" did. There was an election and everything.

-Bonus HotD-
"Shuster: If you plan on 'tea bagging all around the country, you're going to need a Dick Armey.'"

Technically, you're going to need a Testicle Armey, but the general idea's the same. (Think Progress)
