-Headline of the day-
"Bachmann: Tea Partiers Yesterday Numbered "20,000 Minimum.'"
Shelly Bachmann's big "Boo for a healthy populace!" rally yesterday was a huge success and now there won't be any healthcare reform -- ever. When she says that 20,000 people is the "minimum," she really means there were probably around 5 or 6 trillion. But Rep. Shelly's a conservative lady, so her's is probably a conservative estimate.
And it's a conservative estimate that the entire right wing media machine is running with. According to the report, 20k "is the number that has been decided on by right-wing media. Earlier in the show [on which Bachmann made her claim], [talk radio host Mark] Levin cited that figure without sourcing it. Sean Hannity did the same thing last night. And now Bachmann herself."
Of course, the Capitol Police say the number was much, much lower -- about 4,000 -- but when Barack HUSSEIN Obama took over the White House in an ACORN/George Soros/Oprah Winfrey-funded coup, he fired all the American cops and replaced them with terr'ists from Kenya. So you know what their numbers are worth.
So where does the 20,000 number come from you ask? "The source for this figure is unknown," reports Greg Sargent. So who knows?
But you probably wouldn't lose money betting that it comes from Rep. Michele Bachmann's "Office of Figures I Pulled Out of My Ass." (Plum Line)

"Government health care rescues protesters at anti-government health care rally."
OK, here's the short version; a guy at the "we hate healthy families!" rally yesterday got so riled up over Barack Obama's Nazi communist healthcare takeover that he literally blew a gasket and collapsed. According to the report, "Medical personnel from the Capitol physician's office -- an entity that could, quite accurately, be labeled government-run health care -- rushed over, attaching electrodes to his chest and giving him oxygen and an IV drip."
Of course, they probably took him to appear before a Death Panel or something, where he had to prove his worth to society or they'd kill him right there. And he wasn't the only one. Before all was said and done, "medics had administered government-run health care to at least five people in the crowd who were stricken as they denounced government-run health care."
What could I possibly add? (Think Progress)
