About as popular as the clap
-Headline of the day-
"Joe Lieberman Slightly Less Popular Than Breast Cancer, 9/11."
Public Policy Polling did what they do in Connecticut and found out that Connecticut is not for Lieberman. According to the report, "Joe Lieberman’s actions on the health care bill antagonized constituents both for and against it, and in the wake of that he finds his approval rating at just 25% with 67% of voters in the state disapproving of him." On his obstructionist work against the public option and reform in general, only 19% approve, while 68% disapprove.
There's some partisan disagreement here, but only on how much Joementum sucks. On general approvals, liberals give him 10%, moderates go with 27%, and a mere 36% of conservatives like him.
On healthcare in particular, he gets 8% from liberals, 20% from moderates, and 27% from conservatives.
Looks like the only thing that bridges the partisan divide these days is hatred of Joe Lieberman.
There is hope for America. (Wonkette)
